Sometimes where we're at is just figuring out a way to cope with anxiety. To exist alongside it. And the greatest coping skill for working with anxiety is your own breath. But if you can recognize the presence of anxiety in the body, and just for a split second, allow it to be where it is, no response. Notice the anxiety in the body and then invite the breath in. Allow the anxiety to sit where it sits, allow it to make whatever noise it makes, but bring the breath into the picture. And perhaps we can start to look at that anxiety from a different lens. Get to know it, eventually learn to love it.
