TherapistLindsay is a licensed clinical social worker with a background in forensic psychology and public behavioral health. She received master’s degrees from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the University of South Florida, and has a reputation among her loved ones as a perpetual student constantly seeking knowledge and growth. Lindsay has over a decade of experience working closely with those who struggle with addiction and mental health, spending most of her career supporting justice-impacted individuals. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, in legal settings, and in healthcare facilities.
Lindsay prides herself on being an openly empathetic and emotional person, and values being part of a team that not only feels like a family but also embraces sensitivity as a strength. Her commitment to advocacy, holistic care, and discernment allow her to remain open-minded to the experiences of others and to display genuine compassion for a diverse population of individuals. She believes that being an effective therapist means showing up for people without judgment and creating a space where vulnerability feels safe and supported.
For Lindsay, The Living Room represents a sanctuary that fosters connection, which is a significant element in a healing process she regards as an ongoing experience. After a lifetime of struggling with severe anxiety and depression herself, Lindsay realized that this never-ending journey is where genuine purpose exists and where meaningful connections thrive. She believes that accepting all parts of ourselves and showing up authentically allow us to enjoy the experience and truly heal.
