Meet The Team

Henry Nawn | MSW Intern, ADC Intern
TherapistHenry grew up in Princeton, NJ, attending the Pennington School before graduating from Drew University, where he earned his BA in Business in 2022. Through his college internships and early postgraduate experiences, Henry was introduced to and immediately drawn deeper into the field of human services. He began his professional therapeutic journey working as a counselor in a wilderness therapy program in Utah. Henry then moved into the behavioral services arena, working with adolescents and children for the city of Philadelphia. Having known Dr. Leming for nearly his entire life as a dear friend and mentor, it wasn’t difficult for Henry to find his way to The Living Room.
Playing a lead role in managing alumni relations, he plans and hosts both in-person and virtual events that keep members engaged in The Living Room community even after they complete treatment. These gatherings allow former members to remain actively connected to the practices and people that have supported their healing.
Beyond alumni engagement, his role now spans group and individual therapy. His therapeutic style is firmly grounded in The Living Room’s philosophy of compassion, understanding, and the belief there’s nothing to fix. In his work with members, he explores Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Radical Acceptance to foster awareness and presence.
Henry’s experience at The Living Room has allowed him to continue a process of self-exploration and self-acceptance he began nearly a decade ago; and it is this experience that he looks forward to sharing most with our members.
