Meet The Team

Andrew Bamber | LAC, NCC, MS
TherapistAndrew is a counselor and wellness professional who believes healing is supported through awareness of both mind and body. His approach is grounded in presence, balance, and the practice of observing experience with openness and care, rather than rushing to change or judge it.
Andrew earned his Master’s degree in Counseling from Grand Canyon University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: Exercise & Sport Science from Temple University. His background in movement science and physical training continues to shape how he understands the connection between the body, attention, thought, and lived experience.
Before entering this field, Andrew worked extensively in fitness and performance with individuals of all ages and abilities. Today, that work informs his counseling, especially in recognizing how stress, emotion, and experience can be carried and expressed through the body.
At The Living Room, he works with adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, substance use, and emotional challenges. He brings empathy and curiosity, integrating mindfulness, strengths-based perspectives, and practical tools that support clarity and steadiness in daily life. Andrew aims to help people slow down, notice their internal experience more fully, and respond to life with greater awareness and intention.
Andrew values The Living Room’s emphasis on authentic connection and shared humanity. He truly appreciates the philosophy of meeting people where they are without forcing a particular direction and allowing space for each person’s process.
