Barbara lends to The Living Room 50 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. For the past 28 years, she has practiced as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Barbara has decades of experience working with adolescents, adults and geriatrics across the spectrum of healthcare services. A graduate of Rutgers University and the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Barbara has accumulated over 70,000 hours of face-to-face clinical service. She was inspired to join the The Living Room team as a result of what she describes as “the opportunity to participate in a revolutionary approach to psychiatric and substance abuse care.” According to Barbara, The Living Room is “the most authentically human and elegant treatment center” she has ever known.
