Meet The Team

Samantha Clark

Therapist

Samantha is a Primary Therapist and behavioral health professional with over nine years of experience in substance use and mental health treatment. She works with young adults and adults, providing individual and group therapy, supporting clients in early recovery, developing treatment plans, and utilizing evidence-based approaches to address co-occurring disorders. She brings a strong focus on creating a structured yet supportive environment where clients feel safe to engage, build insight, and develop practical emotional regulation and coping skills.

Samantha holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Southern California, where her academic training included advanced coursework in substance use disorders, psychoeducation, counseling techniques, and trauma-informed care. She now specializes in engaging clients who are ambivalent, guarded, or struggling to connect, and helping them move toward meaningful change through trust and consistency.

A rare blend of clinical expertise and perspective that comes with lived experience in recovery has led Samantha to develop a deeply relational approach to treatment. She shows up with both compassion and honesty, meeting clients exactly where they are while also challenging them to grow in a supportive, grounded way. Her work is intentional, practical, and real-world focused, ensuring clients leave sessions with tools they can actually use in their daily lives.

The Living Room feels like a second family—an environment where both clients and staff are genuinely cared for and supported. It is a place where compassion is not just an idea, but something practiced daily through human connection, respect, and understanding. What stands out most is the culture of unconditional positive regard, where individuals are met with empathy rather than judgment. Being part of a space that prioritizes authentic connection, healing, and mutual support makes her work deeply meaningful and aligns with her values as a clinician.
