Assistant Office Manager & AFP HR Manager

Tara brings over six years of operations, admissions, and director-level housing experience, along with a Bachelor of Science in HR & Business Administration from Rider University. Joining the team in June 2025, she now coordinates HR for Housing, a role that includes payroll, benefits, and onboarding for employees working at The Living Room’s sober living residences. Tara’s grace under pressure allows her to meet the high-volume, often real-time transportation needs of a growing member community. Her expertise in patient management systems ensures accurate attendance records and required testing collection—essentials for smooth program operations. 

With seven years of sobriety, Tara’s own recovery journey underpins her commitment to making The Living Room a supportive, welcoming environment. She shares her adaptability, genuine caring, and warm approachability with both members and staff, showing up with those very human “parts” she regards as foundational to healing.
